Avalokita comes from Avalokitasvara, an early Sanskrit name of the bodhisattva of compassion: “the one who looks upon the sounds of the world.” In Chinese the name became Guanyin, literally “seeing sound.” That is exactly what this app does. It lets you see what you hear, in your own language.

FAQ
How are credits deducted?
By the second, for the length of the audio being translated. Nothing is deducted while it's paused.
Which languages are supported?
Speech in English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and more is detected automatically and translated into the language you choose.
Can I get a refund?
Unused credits are fully refunded within 7 days of purchase. If you've used some, we refund the unused part. See the refund policy for details.
Does it work on Mac?
Not yet. Windows 10 and 11 only for now.
